A/N: This was actually written over a year ago, but I dug it up tonight and decided to finished editing it. I don’t quite like the name Grace for South anymore, nor does this make sense with some of the recent canon (Tex being a robot, Freelancer base being on the Mother of Invention), but I don’t quite feel like changing anything.
He loved the way snuggled against him as she slept, as if, even in the dream world, she couldn’t get enough of him. In reality, he knew that she was just attracted to the source of warmth, but her face was relaxed and her usual fierce expression washed away by sleep, so he could pretend.
He placed a soft kiss on top of her head, with a quick, “I love you, Allison.”
It may have been his imagination, but right before he drifted off to sleep, she whispered back, “Love you too, Leo.”

I’m so glad somebody gif’d this because ugh look at it. It shows how much authority the Director has over them. THEY BACK UP, EVEN THOUGH THEY HAVE TWO TON ARMOR. Even Carolina, who is more or less the “leader” of the group. and North the Sasquatch.
So North is taller than Wash, Carolina is shorter than both, CT is on a par with Carolina and South… looks taller than Wash if I squint and take perspective into account? It’s hard to tell, some shots she looks shorter, some she looks taller.
LOVE the fact you can see the Director’s face in Wash’s visor.
IT ONLY TOOK FOREVER. XD But it’s done. I’m happy panda.
